Overview

It is never too early to begin planning for your post-graduate LIFE that probably will include more education. 8th and 9th grade students can begin planning by taking the Explore Test offered each fall. 10th grade students can take the PLAN test, also in the fall.

These two tests help identify individual strengths and interests to specific careers and provide valuable practice to prepare for the ACT Test that you will take in the 11th grade.

Also, it's never too early to dream about your future career and where you will train for that career. Begin early, before your senior year, your exploration of colleges and universities, technical and trade schools and apprenticeships that will carry your closer and closer to your dream job – the kind of job that you truly enjoy, the kind of job that you look forward to on Monday morning.

Begin your middle school and high school course choices with a career in mind and make your studies your job right now.
